Your Doula

Vimmy’s training and work as a Postpartum Doula began over 13 years ago and led her to work throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland helping families, mainly mothers in the first few weeks after baby’s birth.  Vimmy is currently a member of the Doula Services Association (of Vancouver). Recently, Vimmy completed her training as a Birth Doula with DONA International and is now working towards her certification.  Vimmy has also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Natural Health but focuses her practice on her very rewarding work as a Doula.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:
l

Vimmy, who was born and raised here in beautiful Vancouver, is happily married and mother to a teenage son and at the age of 40+, is pregnant with her second child. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her dog, cycling, cooking delicious and healthy meals, traveling, reading, and yoga.

Vimmy’s volunteer work within the community over the years includes sitting on the Parent Advisory Committee at her son’s high school, Friends for Life Society and the Richmond General Hospital Extended Care Unit.
